Now Now, let's settle down !

Well, one hot weekend and asparagus is jumping out of the ground, we have a phenomenal supplier network this year with a 4 & 5 year old crop yielding very well, giving us a good sized asparagus that taste as if it is in its infancy, crunchy, fresh, consistent and not remotely woody ! We have also seen the local strawberries & raspberries really start to take shape, in terms of flavour; as we are now a month into the local indoor season. These strawberries and raspberries will run until september and really do hold phenomenal consistency in appearance and flavour throughout. This said, we will be suppling outdoor locally grown in the height of summer as it has a ‘terrier’ that cannot be beaten in a greenhouse !!!!

Salad & Radish:

Matt’s market garden less than a mile from base has confirmed that he has Heritage easter egg radish, baby spinach and rocket ready for harvest next week, so we are officially getting into the local salad. This will sell alongside out mix leaf salad from chiding fold that has been refined and played with for decades; making it the best in the business.

Our growing season is well underway now and we look forwards to jumping into may with more baby veg, soft fruits, salad toppers, leaf varieties and green veg pouring through our doors and into order heading out across the south east !
